That is a pretty bold statement for a wedding photographer to make! But this is totally the truth. I am getting married on June 23, 2012 to my best friend Kelly.

We are planning the wedding now, and I am finally understanding all the work that goes into preparation, coordinating families, and since we are having a small destination wedding, scheduling flights, boats, etc.

Here is Kelly. My best friend, my wife to be. We are getting married on June 23, this summer on my favorite vacation spot, Pelee Island. My moms family has been going to Pelee Island since the 50′s, but we are the first family wedding to take place there.

Your “Partners in Perfection” What does your brand say about you?

Just last week I finished editing this video for a local custom cabinet and furniture maker in the area. When he first met with my partners over at SmarSite Strategies, Rich Gardner of Gardner Woodworking claimed that he would back up his brand with the “Perfect Process” which includes planning, building, and installation. It is a risky claim, but one he stands by. I am excited for this short piece that we produced for him. This was a one man show, as far as shooting, interviewing, and editing, but I cant say thank you enough to Rich, and Ray for helping me to reach all of our goals with this. As Rich says at the end of his video “Every time we do a project, its a little bit better than the last”, I couldnt agree more…

I love the Laurel Highlands

I grew up in the laurel highlands of Pennsylvania. Summers were spent riding horses, hiking, and generally enjoying the freedom that is the country.

Winters brought snow and skiing, and eventually gave way to spring. I’m in Ligonier today, working on networking with groups up here, and checking out a new AMAZING wedding venue known as Foxly Farms I can’t wait to shoot out here once it officially opens.

I’ve been venturing more and more into video over the past year. Every day I step out to shoot, I learn something new. Last week I worked with the SmartSite Strategies Team to film an invitation video for the Taste the Good Life event at DiSalvo’s Station in Latrobe, PA.

Im working on this whole editing thing, but it seems like every hour I spend in Premiere Pro, gets me a little more comfortable. Still need to pick up Plural Eyes for syncing, because it is a whole lot easier than syncing by hand with the SLR’s but we do what we can.

Dani and Tom: An Outdoor Fall Wedding in Lovely Ligonier

Dani and Tom were married back in September, at her families beautiful home in Ligonier, Pa. After a day at the local Polo for the Kids event it was awesome to head over to the house and spend a beautiful Saturday with Dani, Tom, and their family.

Tents, catering, linens, and staff were all provided by Elegant Tents and Catering and according to Dani, “They did everything from bringing chairs, tables bartenders and the food. They can even do the flowers. Thats what is so nice, they can do everything.”

Her flowers were provided by a local farm, and fit the season beautifully.

That is just one of the reasons I love documenting these moments in peoples lives. As you catch a glimpse of your wedding photos as you pass by them on the way out the door, a rush of memories come to mind from your special day.
